The Liminal Space: Finding Meaning in Transition

The Pandemic has left many of us longing for connection, inner peace, and a renewed sense of purpose. The Liminal Space is any life transition, such as Covid, divorce, retirement, empty nest, or death of a loved one, creating feelings of anxiety, loss, uncertainty, and confusion. In this place of betwixt and between, we are being challenged to reconsider our lives with courage and honesty.

Jungian Psychotherapist Gail Westlin will address this phase of suspended chaos as a sacred invitation to greater self-awareness, authenticity, and aliveness. In the safety of a small group of women, storytelling, writing prompts, poetry, music, meditation, and art will inspire creative expression and naming aloud one’s longings for the next life chapter.

During our time together, you will:

  • Grow in your connection to your unique feelings related to your transition.

  • Identify your personal narrative and find compassion for your new identity.

  • Tap into creativity for hope and a shift in perspective.

  • Experience the group as a rite of passage.

  • Find support and wisdom in the sacred space of sisterhood.

As a mother and former educator, I have a profound understanding of the evolution of life stages, especially the transformative experience of aging. My background enriches my insights into family dynamics, parenting, and the developmental arcs across one's lifespan.

My approach goes beyond traditional therapy; it's holistic, creating a space where the nuances of aging, both mental and physical, are addressed with compassion and expertise. I recognize and understand the deep shifts and contemplations that come with advancing years, ensuring that my guidance is always tailored to these unique challenges.

With me, you're not just aging—you're evolving. Every life story, every testament of experience, and every shared memory is celebrated and embraced. In my sanctuary, acceptance is an encompassing embrace of one's entire life journey—past, present, and future.

With years of experience as a therapist, I value the timing, body intuition, and the depth of wisdom that comes with age. In my care, you will find a therapist and a dedicated partner ready to walk alongside you on the profound journey of growing older.
